Why work to enable text mining in this way?

  1. Reduces overhead on researchers
    1. they no longer have to negotioate access to raw text on a publisher-by-publisher basis
    2. nor deal with a wide range of differing formats
  2. Enables publishers to encourage research through text mining within existing business models
